Twenty five. Twenty-five years. Next week.

We only made it twenty-three years, two weeks and one day. Suzanne died on August 19, 2018.

Our 23rd anniversary was August 4, 2018. This was a photo we took at dinner that night:

Will I ever reach a 25th anniversary? Is it one of those things that I am not destined to do?

I wonder why it’s such a significant milestone. If she had lived, I think we would have made it to fifty… maybe longer. At least I like to think so.

We will, though. I just celebrate that I will always be married to her. She will always be my wife. No matter what happens in my life, I will always honor her and love her and know that we will always be together–as husband and wife–since we made it to the “til death do (you) part” thing.

That’s all I want to write this week. Sorry it’s not much, but I am dealing with a lot of emotions.
