Often when I’m working on the computer, I’ll choose to listen to a podcast on YouTube. I’ve been listening to random episodes of Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown, so when I opened up YouTube the other day I saw a new episode and ended up listening to it. Most of us have heard of NDEs (near death experiences), but there is also something called an SDE or shared death experience. There are some fascinating stories where someone experiences something when their loved one is dying or when they die and this is what this episode revolves around. Much like many other topics having to do with life after death, there is a ton of anecdotal evidence. Maybe you’ve had your own experience?
This brought to mind something that happened on the day Mario passed. Mario was not conscious his last 24 hours. Doctors said he was, “transitioning”, which I thought was an interesting term to use, considering that’s also a term the metaphysical world uses the term to describe the soul or consciousness moving from the physical body into a non-physical.
Late that morning, I was preparing myself (mentally) to go back to the hospital when I got a text from a friend of mine who has psychic abilities. She said something along the lines of, “You need to get down there … his people are gathering”.
The thing with psychic abilities is that the way things come to a person is really individualized. That person may not understand what they see, hear, feel or otherwise sense means. My theory is that whatever they pick up, it might mean something to someone else. I’m not talking about the type of “psychic” who throws out questions, such as “I’m getting a person with a name that starts with M” because that is a bit too vague for me to truly believe they’re sensing anything.
So my friend went on to tell me that one of the spirits who was gathering for Mario was a very large figure who chose to show themselves as a bear. Years prior to Mario’s exit from this life, we lost a good friend to cancer. His name was Blair, but his nick name and we all called him, was Grizzly.
Anyway, I definitely recommend checking out the episode.
